National Geographic Photography

As someone who loves photography but ironically isn't a photographer I really enjoy browsing through the National Geographic Photography site. I'm always going to there to get new pictures for my desktop. The quality of the photography is great and they have a wealth of photos from around the world. It's like having a limitless coffee-table book about the whole world. I often go there to get ideas for art projects or just to see something different. It's also my alternative to watching the news. Although the photo galleries aren't always about current events, at least they aren't depressing or about the melodramatic lives of celebrities. And for the actual photographers out there they have regular contests you can enter. The site is also linked to the larger National Geographic site which offers a cornucopia of other things you can check out for kids and adults alike.

Thanks for sharing this tip. I love the online coffee table book! When I go there I can get lost in the photos for hours and never want to leave. Best on the web for photography.
