Things I Wish I'd Known
Reading Nora Ephron's book, I Feel Bad About My Neck and other thoughts on being a woman (a great quick read btw) inspired us to ask you, What do you wish you'd known? "Take More Pictures", "If the shoe doesn't fit in the shoe store, it's never going to fit" (from Nora's list)

I wish I had known what a useless pursuit perfection is! I would have spent a hell of a lot less time on it and a hell of a lot of time on my own quirkey imperfection!!!!

When you are young you suffer from the illusion that everyone is looking at you!!! Ha, when you are my age you realize that no one is looking at you and that is when the real fun starts!!!! Too bad we can't figure this out when we are young!!

I wish I would have known that no one can make you happy except yourself! I would have had a much nicer youth had I been resposible for my own joy and not left it up to others.

I wish I had known everything I know now!!!! I can't just say one thing! I must have been so naive because I sure am a lot more knowlegable now!!

My first marriage wouldn't last. I would have moved on to my second one much sooner!

That I'd become more and more invisible every year. Now I understand why older women are drawn to big floral patterns.

I wish I had known that it was not a race (my life that is!) If I had known I would have taken more time to enjoy a lot of things that I rushed through!

I WOULD NEVER, NEVER HAVE COMMENTED ON OTHER PEOPLE'S CHILDREN!!! Especially now that I know as soon as you say "my kid would never do that" they do!!!!
