I think siblings just need confirmation of their individuality. On the flip side, they don't like to see one other sibling getting the lion's share of attention either. It's hard to keep things fair, but that's the challenge.

Sometimes when you are around someone a lot and practically wherever you are they are there too and you tend to feel anger towards them because they are always around. Since siblings are always around each other, that tends to happen. So I guess it is technically normal but not real anger against each other. My tip to sibling rivalry is to make sure they get some time away from each other so when they are together they are happy to be together.
