I know. I know. I'm little. I'm new. I'm cute. I'm a big attraction and a lot of work. Can't help it. Until I can get on my feet and get my own place, that's just the way it is. Which is why I don't get why my mom doesn't automatically get a lot more help. Seriously, all those parties, the showers, the gifts! Don't get me wrong, they're nice but how much stuff do you think I need? My mom on the other hand, she could use some new stuff. Trust me, I've seen her after you all go home. She's exhausted! And the clothes she wears! She could use a pick-me-up - maybe a new shirt in a fun colour to offset the dark circles under her eyes. Or instead of another pair of booties that you know I'm not going to wear, buy mom some fresh flowers - not a potted plant! - she has enough to do keeping me watered! Forget the whole baby shower and have a series of mom showers - take turns coming over and holding me so she can have a relaxing soak! I hear my mom talking with her other mom friends about finding balance. I've been peeking at the computer screen lately and all the sites mom goes to are about babies, how to feed us, burp us, change us, clothe us, put us to sleep, wake us up.......Really, we're not that hard to take care of. Seriously, enough about me, how about mom?
